- OLD WHITE GUY (I Think-how could one know the ethnicity of every ancestor?) I have an opinion on almost everything. But my opinions are not unshakeable. I love truth and facts. I strive to be right, but have no aversion to being proven wrong. My formal education in writing is limited, as learned readers will quickly discern. I was born the day Herbert Hoover was elected president and have voted Republican nearly all my life. I am a veteran of a proud, though undistinguished career with the United States Army in the Western Pacific. I am a past member of the Society of The Sons Of The American Revolution and an active member of The National Rifle Association. I am blessed to have been born an American. I am most grateful to our Founding Fathers who 'gave us a nation' and the American military who help us preserve it; I am most proud of my wife, my children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
